Kennedy - Comedian Chester Concert reviews
Martina Has Lost Her Vocal Chops
A few years ago, my wife and I attended The Joy of Christmas show in Minneapolis and loved every second of it. We were super excited. But there is no Minneapolis show this year, so we decided to take a road trip to Dubuque to catch the closest show we could find. It was an eye opener. I thought Dubuque would be a charming river town, but it was far from that. What a depressing place! However, we were going to see Kennedy - Comedian, so who cares?
It pains me to say that her voice lacked all the luster the town did. She was pitchy all over the place and flat in spots. At first, I just thought she was fighting the room, which was basically a converted gym, but that was not the case. It was two hours of pain, and I love Martina to death. Her best song was the last one, one of her country hits, delivered well and at least in pitch.
I am so sad to see Martina has totally lost her angelic voice. It was pretty depressing. I felt bad for her.
